How every year comes to Ezcaray a call essential for all lovers of jazz. The 21st Jazz Festival of Ezcaray, which takes place from the 14th to the 16th of July. This year has great artists of this musical genre as in each edition.

This edition will feature great jazz groups such as: Victor de Diego Trio, Michael Olivera Group, Ray Gelato & The Enfocers, Grupo Alberto Arteta. Grupo Daniel Bahamón and «King» Salomon Hicks Quartet.
In this article we are going to focus on «Alberto Arteta Group», who are the ones that enliven the night in our restaurant on Saturday the 15th, at 00:30 h.
Alberto Arteta is one of the most sought after and most sought after saxophonists in the country. He studied at the Pablo Sarasate Conservatory of Music where he finished his studies with honors and the best student of his career. He continued to cultivate successes in Amsterdam, learning from established artists like Dick Oatss, Gerald Clayton, Fernidand Powel among many others, obtaining the recognition to the best instrumentalist of his promotion.
He has played in the best jazz festivals and clubs. Alberto has recorded more than 20 albums as a leader and as a sideman, of which we highlight his 2 works at the head of the group «Alberto Arteta Group»:

The group that leads is formed by Luis Giménez (guitar), Satxa Soriazu (piano), Kike Arza (double bass), Juanma Urriza (drums) and himself.
